Terms of Use

These terms describe the boundaries for calls and messages made through Jane Communications.

Effective August 19, 2026

Personal communications service

Jane Communications is a personal, AI-assisted project. It helps its owner complete life-administration calls, leave disclosed automated voicemail, and send consent-based administrative text messages. It is not a public subscription service.

Disclosure and authority

The service identifies automated calls and messages as coming from Jane Communications. It does not impersonate a human. The service may communicate only for a task authorized by its owner and may use only the context needed for that task.

Messaging consent

Recipients must directly opt in before receiving automated text messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. More detail is available in the Messaging Consent Policy.

Important limits

Jane Communications is not an emergency service. Do not use it for emergency calls, urgent safety needs, medical diagnosis, legal advice, financial advice, or any task that requires an immediate human response. Call the appropriate local emergency service when needed.

The service does not make contracts, financial commitments, healthcare decisions, legal decisions, or identity claims on behalf of another person unless that authority is separately and lawfully established.

Availability

Calls or messages may be delayed, blocked, incomplete, or unavailable because of carrier, provider, network, or software limits. Delivery is not guaranteed.

Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains how limited contact and communication information is handled.
